Senior Researcher, Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Gerontology
Tsutomu Taga is a researcher in the Research Team for Promoting Independence of the Elderly and Mental Health, Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Gerontology (TMIG). He graduated with a B.A. in Biopsychology and a M.A. in social and clinical psychology from Keio University and with a M.A. in social welfare from Tokyo Metropolitan University. His research topics were social work practice, care manager’s planning process, client and family caregiver’s decision-making process on care planning, turnover problems of care workers, development of volunteer training programs, and prevalence of and living concerns regarding early onset dementia. He has been engaged in disaster reconstruction projects at Waseda University since 2015.
